RFP 03_01_2010 Architectural Design Services Law Enforcement Training Center and Outdoor Firing Range Master Plan (LETCO)

SEE ADDENDUM #1 !!!!!The Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office seeks proposals from qualified firms to provide architectural design services related to the construction of the Law Enforcement Training Center and Outdoor Firing Range (LETCO) proposed to be located adjacent to the Public Safety Complex on Chattin Drive in Canton, Georgia.

The services are comprehensive and shall include all architectural and engineering design services, as well as construction management services required to complete the design and preparation of the construction documents, and construction management, for the LETCO training building (7,500 sf +/-) and supporting administrative, training and classroom space. In addition, the complex will include an outdoor pistol, general purpose, and rifle firing range.

The following criteria are to be considered when preparing a response to this Request for Proposal:

A. The design services to be provided are full service – architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection and any other design discipline required to complete the project as determined by the architect.

The components of the Master Plan relevant to this RFP include:

  1. New Law Enforcement Training Building (7,500 sf)
  2. Enclosed live fire shoot house
  3. Outdoor reactive pistol, general purpose, and 200 yard rifle shooting range to include integrated rappel tower.
  4. One half mile (+/-) woodland jogging trail with integrated confidence course.
