8/20/10: The County is currently performing due diligence and a team-based review of the responses. The review team anticipates making a recommendation to the County Manager by the end of August.

***NOTE2: County employee rates for security / escort while in the Justice Center are $30/hour for straight time & $40/hour for overtime. Sheriff's deputies time requires a 2-hour minimum. Contractor will maintain timesheet per county employee and the timesheet will be signed off by Contractor, county employee and employee's supervisor. See attached timesheet.***

The Cherokee County Board of Commissioners invite you to submit a proposal responsive to the issues outlined in this request for proposal to provide mechanical systems upgrades and renovations to Cherokee County's Justice Center. Proposals must be received by Cherokee County Procurement & Risk Management Department, 1130 Bluffs Parkway, Canton, GA 30114 NLT 3 pm EST, Friday, August 13, 2010. Late proposals will not be accepted.

The respondents must be familiar with and comply with the Cherokee County Procurement Ordinance (June 1, 2010 version) attached hereto. The County reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive technicalities and to make an award as deemed to be in the best interest of the County.
